A Finish and a WIP

First off, I didn't make any progress on Sweet Hearts or Knotwork Quickie. Those are still on the back burner for now, but, I do have a finish, I finished Baby Bear! I'm so so so glad that it's done.

I also have a new start that I'll get to in a minute.

And here we have my WIPs. The first one I've actually done more on since I got this scan, but I don't think I'll do an update until it's finished.

New Finishes!

I've been stitching again! Recent events (that I don't want to get into) have left me with time on my hands and a need for a distraction. My mom suggested I start stitching again, so I have and I've been busting out projects left and right.

I also have three WIPs, which I'll show off in a second post.

But here are the finishes:

Revival

Maybe I should have never started this blog before I knew I could keep up with it. I started it at a time when other interests were creeping in and my cross stitch hobby was getting put on the back burner.

But now that I've been "commissioned" to stitch a piece (no charge, but I've been told by my mom I have to stitch something for my sister), I'm going to be doing other stitching to get back in the groove of it, and might as well post them here (hopefully).

Pattern Upload: ILY Balloons

Until I'm working on an actual piece, I've decided to post my patterns that I've made for people to download so they get some use out of them, even if I don't end up being the one to use them.

The first pattern is based on a little animated signature banner I found a couple years ago that I thought was so cute. As with all my patterns, they're all full stitches with no backstitching.

Delayed Again

I'm sorry for the delayed absence once again (though fortunately it wasn't as long as the first one). I got heavily into my nail polish blog and this one took a back seat to it (as did my writing and personal blogs, apparently. I'm pretty much everywhere, but people who wanna read my writing posts might not be the same people who wanna read my day to day life posts, etc.)

Anyway, I'm going to try to make an effort to get back into stitching (though with much more manicured hands than before) and therefore this blog. I have a project I'm going to get supplies for pretty soon and I have more UFOs than I can count.

I'm also considering setting up social networking accounts for this blog in an effort to keep updated. I did it with the polish blog and it helped tremendously.
